Father seeks action against teacher for beating up son

The father of a four-year-old student of a private school here today approached the district administration seeking action against a teacher who allegedly beat up his son, resulting in bleeding injuries.
In his petition to District Collector, the man had stated that his son was admitted to a private hospital, with injuries on his forehead after his teacher had beat him up,police said.
Though the school management claimed that the boy had a fall in school and suffered head injuries, the son had told the parents that he was beaten by a teacher, the petition said.
The man sought immediate action against the erring teacher and a detailed inquiry into the incident, they said.
