Fawn rescued from well in Odisha

Forest personnel have rescued a fawn that had accidentally fallen into a well in Krushnanagar village beside Bhitarkanika National Park in Odisha's Kendrapara district.
The baby deer was in a distressed condition, a forest official said.
Nylon nets were thrown into the well. The animal was dragged out of the well yesterday after it got entangled in the net, the official said.
The animal was given succour and later released inside the mangrove forest cover area of the national park, the official said.
