FEIAP to hold international conference from May 8

The Federation of Engineering Institutions of Asia and Pacific (FEIAP) will hold its second convention and international conference here from May 8.
Experts from as many as 25 countries from the region will attend the four-day event with the theme 'Engineering Initiatives for Sustainable Development: Integrating Innovation and Ethics', organising committee chairman G Prabhakar told reporters today.
Organised by the Institution of Engineers (India), the event will be inaugurated by Andhra Pradesh Governor ESL Narasimhan.
FEIAP has formed five different standing committees on ICT, environment technology, power and energy, climate change and anti-corruption.
DRDO Chief and Scientific Advisor to Defence Minister V K Saraswat will deliver talk on 'Technology Development and Production Engineering Institutional Practices and Processes for Sustainability' during the valedictory session, Prabhakar said.
