When the case came up for hearing before the bench, comprising Justices S Manikumar and C T Selvam, CB-CID Police submitted they had formed five special teams which were looking at adoption centres for clues on lifting of the baby.
They had paid an interim solatium of Rs one lakh to the mother of child Meenakshi.
Another woman Mareerswari, whose baby was also stolen earlier, had been given Rs three lakh, CB-CID said.
