The process of filing nominations will begin after an election notification to this effect would be released tomorrow morning, an advisor (PR) of the CEO said.
Nomination papers by contestants would be accepted at 200 Returning Offices in 33 districts of the state every day from 11 am to 3 pm, he said.
The last date of filing nomination papers is November 12, and there will be no nomination work on next Sunday, November 10. Scrutiny of papers will take place on November 13, and they can be withdrawn by November 16.
Single phase polling in the state is scheduled for December 1, and the counting of votes will take place on December 8.
