Finance Minister D Jayakumar presented the estimates in the state assembly.
Of this amount, Rs 4121.49 crore was in the Revenue Account and Rs 675.09 crore in Capital and Loan accounts, he said.
The Supplementary Estimates were being presented to obtain the Legislature's approval for expenditure on New Service and New Instrument of service items sanctioned since the presentation of the first Supplementary Estimates made on February 1,2017, he said.
Among others the government has sanctioned a sum of Rs 2247.07 crore towards input subsidy for farmers affected by drought in the state, he added.
