FIR against man for getting land on fake caste certificate

An FIR was lodged against a person, who allegedly got a land allotted on his name on fake caste certificate, police said today.
Vir Singh resident of Unchi Dankaur allegedly got the patta land allotted in his name on fake caste certificate in the year 1995, police said.
After court orders the FIR was lodged yesterday against Singh at the Dankaur police station, they said.
A social worker Sunil Gautam has lodged the FIR against Singh, a resident of Unchi Dankaur for allegedly grabbing land on fake caste certificate.
Though Singh was from upper caste but he had produced a fake caste certificate and got the land allotted in his name, they said.

Gautam has alleged that Consolidation Department officer too was involved as without his consent no patta land could be allotted to anybody. DM too allots pattas only after Consolidation Department officer report, he said.
The matter is being investigated, a police officer said.
