FIR registered against sub-inspector, 2 constables

A sub-inspector and two constables have been booked for allegedly snatching over Rs one lakh from a trader during vehicle inspection here.
An FIR was registered yesterday against sub-inspector Jai Pal Singh and constables -- Manish Kumar and Pravin Kumar -- at Chandausi police station, SP Tehsildar Singh said.
According to the FIR, the trio allegedly snatched Rs 1.10 lakh from trader Genda Lal on Tuesday during vehicle checking and assaulted him, the FIR said.
The three policemen have also been suspended over the charge made against them.
