No one was hurt in the mishap.
"The fire might have erupted much before we received an emergency call at 7 AM," Vadodara Municipal Corporation's in-charge fire brigade officer Dipak Gunjal said.

The first floor houses the administrative wing of the bank, he said.
"About seven fire tenders and nearly 35 personnel managed to put out the blaze after hectic efforts for one-and-a-half hours," Gunjal said.
There was no casualty and nobody was injured in the inferno, he said.
The exact cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained, the official said, adding that it is suspected to have been caused by a short-circuit.
Meanwhile, a bank official said that the branch has been shut because of the fire and operations hve been shfited to Express Tower Hotel on RC Dutt Road.
