Fire at Jadavpur University central store

Fire broke out at the central store of the Jadavpur University here today, fire brigade sources said.
However, no injury or casualty was reported, the police said.
Four fire tenders rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control in about 90 minutes.
Among other articles, the store room had a stock of chemicals and wooden furniture, fire brigade sources said.
Cause of the fire and the extent of damage were yet to be ascertained.
Today being Sunday, there were no classes in the state run university.
