The fire broke out at the Shrine of Hazrat Syed Bakir Bukhari at Ohangam village of Beerwah, 25 kms from here, late last night, causing partial damage to it, they said.
Fire services personnel immediately reached the spot and put off the blaze with the assistance of police.
The cause of the fire was not known immediately, police said.
A case has been registered and further investigations are on, they added.
