First ever workshop on child abuse with little angels

With cases of sexual abuse of children more frequent these days, a leading city book store today conducted the first ever workshop in region where the little ones were taught to distinguish between the 'Right Touch and Wrong Touch."
"It is your body. Remember to say an emphatic no if somone other than your parents, ayah and doctor is about to touch your private parts," a child consultant associated with an elite city school told the tiny tots - aged from 3 to 12 years - at the 'Story'.
"If you feel someone is not touching you at right places say no and please report to your mom and papa," the lady teacher told the attentive gathering of children and their parents at the bookstore.

With increasing incidents of child abuse in school buses and even compounds when their is lesser number of people, we have to be aware about the bitter truth that the children are not safe. The abuser can be either a man or even a woman.
We will organise another workship with greater attendance where the parents and their little wards will be sesitised by people outside the family, the bus driver, peon, and even teachers," the consultant said.
Siddharth Pansari of Story said, "This was a participatory session and we hope the discussion helped in the awareness about the issue. The round two is in the offing.
