Fish seed centre to come up in Ramanathapuram dist

A fish seed centre was being set up by the Tamil Nadu Fisheries University (TNFU) here.
According to a press release, the centre was being set up by the TNFU at a cost of Rs 1.85 crore to increase farm productivity.
Once the centre becomes operational, the local youth would get employment and could start their own business.
A site measuring 25 acres had been selected at Sundaramudaiyan and the work was going on in full swing.
The fish cages would be installed for breeding the fish, and five different fish seed would be sold by the centre.
The fish were being reared by the centre for the purpose of laying eggs.
