Fisherman's murder: Two held

Two persons have been arrested in connection with the murderof a fisherman at Kotepura near Ullal in thedistrict on April 12, police said.
The arrested persons are Abdul Mutalif (20), and Mohammed Asif (19), they said.
A 17-year old boy hasalso been named as an accused.
Police said all the three were directly involvedin the crime.
They allegedly attacked the fisherman, Rajesh Kotian while he was on his way to Kotepura boat jetty to leave for fishing early morning.
The incident had led to outrage among members of Mogaveeracommunity who held a protest in front of Ullal policestation carrying the body of the fisherman on April 13.

The sources said the culprits were arrested from Someshwar near here yesterday.
Further investigations are on, they said.
