The course, part of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) sponsored Global Initiative of Academic Networks (GIAN), will cover the principles and practice of effective communication from analysing the communication context and dynamics of relational status to delivering ideas, an IIM-K press release said.
Participants would be taught to identify their own stereotypes, prejudices, and communication behavior that can create barriers to impersonal, interpersonal, and hyperpersonal relationships.
The course would be jointly conducted by Prof Anupam Das of IIM-K, Prof Richard Buttny of Syracuse University and Prof Jodi Cohen of Cornell University (both USA), it said.
