The sentence was handed down by Special Judge R P Sharma to Gopal Yadav (40), Amarnath Yadav (46), Rajesh (40), Sugriv (30) and Anil (45) under various sections of Indian Penal Code, including murder.
"They had killed Babulal in Rau town near here on June 4, 2003," prosecution counsel Vishal Anand Shrivastava told reporters.
The victim was sleeping on the terrace when they attacked him with a sword and knives, he said.
