Five illegal minigun factories were today busted at Dangra forest in Munger district, where Maoists have sizeable presence.
Acting on a tip off, a joint team of CRPF and district police personnel raided Dangra forest and busted the five factories, Superintendent of Police Ashish Bharti said.
They seized 27 magazines of automatic pistols, besides equipment and other materials used for making weapons, the SP said.
A probe is on to find out if there is any Maoists' link with the minigun factories, Bharti said.
