The private bus carrying about 30 passengers was on its way from Chirgaon in Rohroo area of Shimla district to Mandi.
"The bodies of the victims have been recovered and the injured persons have been shifted to Darlaghat hospital while the seriously injured ones have been rushed to IGMC in Shimla," Deputy Commissioner of Solan, Rakesh Kanwar, said.
Medical and rescue teams for relief and rescue operations are on the spot. Interim relief would be given to the next of kin of the deceased and injured persons, SDM Arki said.
