Five killed in road accidents

At least five people were killed in two separate road accidents on National Highway No. 5 in Balasore district of Odisha today.
Two persons were killed when the motorcycle in which they were travelling was hit by a car on the highway near Soro, police said.
In another accident, three persons travelling in a motorcycle died after their two-wheeler was hit by a truck on the highway near Khantapada, they said.
Both the accidents occured almost in a similar manner when the motor cyclists had just approached the national highway from connecting roads, said police.
