Five polcie teams set up to recover looted service rifles in UP

Five teams have been set up to recover two rifles which were looted from police personnel allegedly by armed men in Uttar Pradesh, police said Thursday.

Deputy Inspector General of Police (Saharanpur) Sharad Pachan told reporters here five police teams has been set up to recovered the looted rifles and they were combing the area to arrest the accused.

Armed men had looted the rifles and injured Home Guard Sanjay in an attack on Bidoli road in Shamli district Tuesday.
