Flag mast, plaque found damaged at Cong office;workers protest

Tension prevailed at a colony here for some time when Congress workers protested after finding that the flag mast and plaque at the party office were damaged.
Some people had damaged the plaque and the flag mast at the party office in Saibaba colony in Venkittapuram, police said.
On coming to know about the incident, around 100 party volunteers rushed to the spot and started a demonstration, resulting in tense moments in the area, they said.
The workers dispersed after police, who had rushed to the spot, assured them that action would be taken against the culprits, police said.
