Flight operation at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport was affected for about two hours this morning due to link failure of BSNL.
Due to the link failure telephonic connection with the pilots was hit between 7.30 am and 9 am and airport officials started working on the manual and stand by systems.
Airport officials said BSNL authorities were contacted who said a major fault had cropped up as there was no power supply in a part of the airport.
BSNL resumed services later and the flight operations returned to normal, the officials added.
