The traffic on a stretch of around 1.5 km got affected on Delhi-Jaipur national highway number eight in Kotputali due to many crevices on a flyover, Police Superintendent (rural) Bahadur Singh Rathaur said.
Transportation was stopped over the flyover lying on about 1.5 km length in Kotputali since yesterday, he said.
Today, the traffic movement was maintained slowly from both sides avoiding the crevices portion of the lane on the flyover, Rathaur said, adding over 150 RAC jawans were deployed to avert any traffic crisis.
Meanwhile, National Highway Authority of India has sent its engineers and workers to review the situation and the reconstruction work could take a week, he said.
