While nine trains mostly Delhi-bound were running late by several hours due to the low visibility condition, departure timings of four trains were rescheduled.
Bhagalpur Garibrath Express was running more than six hours late while Abodh Assam Express was behind the schedule by 18 hours, according to the Northern Railway data.
Departure of Porvattor Sampark Kranti and Bhramhaputra Mail among other trains were rescheduled keeping the delay in running trains in mind.
Railways have instructed the loco drivers to run trains at a restricted speed during the foggy condition.
Meanwhile, railways have also decided to extend the services of special trains between Jaipur and Lucknow and Mumbai-Jammu to clear the extra rush.
