The new districts, where the appointments have been made, are Kutch, Rajkot, Morbi, Devbhumi Dwarka, Ahmedabad city, Chhota Udaipur, Surat city, Anand, Valsad and Dang.
Navalsingh Jadeja, Dinesh Chovatia, Brijesh Merja, Pratap Singh Jadeja, Chetan Raval, Umesh Shah, Naishadh Desai, Kanti Sodhaparmar, Natwarbhai Patel and Gautambhai Patel have been appointed respectively as district chiefs.
