Foreign powers' pressure escalating on economy : Govindacharya

Pressure of FDI in retail from US was a burning example, he said adding US President's recent sermon to India for building up conducive atmospare in FDI and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's response manifested example of pressure from foreign power.

Govindacharya claimed Hillary Clinton had once been associated with the Wallmart company and her recent visit was to mount pressure for allowing entry of Wallmart to India.

He suggested that the Centre should strongly object to these designs.
