Welfare Miniter P.Rajavelu, Electricity Minister T.Thiagarajan, legislators and officials were among those who paid tributes.
Reddiar was the second Chief Minister of Puducherry after it became free from French regime in 1962.
Puducherry PCC workers led by its president A Namassivayam also paid floral tributes. Leader of the oppositon V.Vaithiliingam (the younger son of Venkatasubba Reddiar), legislators and freedom fighters were among those who paid homage.
