Former MP Abdul Mannan Hossain dead

Former Murshidabad MP and senior Trinamool Congress leader Abdul Mannan Hossain died at a city hospital today due to age related problems.
He was 65.
His son Shamik Hossain said he was suffering from old age problems and was admitted to the hospital where he passed away this evening.
He was a Congress leader and a two term MP of the party from 2004-2014. Earlier he was an MLA of Congress from 1987.
He joined TMC in 2014 after he had differences with the Congress' state leadership.
He is survived by his two wives, two sons and two daughters.
