Born on October 30, 1922 in Lahore, Mahavir joined RSS as Pracharak and had also served as the member of the Rajya Sabha for two terms.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Parliamentary Affairs, Water Resources and Public Relations Minister Narottam Mishra and the state BJP president among others expressed deep condolence on his demise.
