Uttar Pradesh STF today arrested four people allegedly involved in betting during IPL cricket matches, an official said.
Acting on a tip-off, the STF arrested Bhanu Yadav, Shubham Tiwari, Arun Saxena and Lal Bahadur from Sagadatganj area here, he said.
The STF seized cash worth Rs 22.5 lakh, LED TV set, mobile phones and ATM cards from their possession, he said.
During interrogation, they confessed to their involvement in betting during IPL cricket matches, the official said, adding that a probe in the matter is underway.
