Acting on a tip off, a police team arrested Alok, Giriraj, Furkan and Kafeel from Dhoomanganj area of the city and seized 850 grams of smack, worth about Rs 85 lakh in the international market, SSP Mohit Agrawal said.
Giriraj, a Rajasthan native who lived in Dimapur district of Nagaland, used to allegedly bring narcotics from the north-eastern state to UP where Allahabad resident Alok, Furkan and Kafeel from Barabanki, used to help him in smuggling the contraband across the state.
