Four car robbers arrested in Meerut

Police today arrested four persons suspected to be part of an inter-state car theft gang, and seized three luxury cars stolen from Delhi.
A country made pistol and three knives were also recovered from the arrested -- identified as Avdesh Kumar, Irfan, Yaman Tyagi and Vick Tyagi, Meerut police said.
"Police got information about the accused following which they were arrested," an official said.
The seized cars were stolen from Punjabi Bagh and Sarita Vihar in Delhi, he said.
The arrested used to steal vehicles from Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and other neighbouring states.
