Four children drown in a pond in UP

Four children, including two girls, drowned in a village pond here.
Kundan, Jagriti, Shubham and Renu, all aged between 8-14 years, slipped into the pond while playing near it and drowned in Banaulikhurd village yesterday, police said today.
The bodies have been fished out, they said.
Chandauli is about 365 km from Uttar Pradesh capital Lucknow.
