Said to be the biggest ever summit on Ayurveda, GAF is being organised by the Centre for Innovation in Science & Social Action (CISSA), the Kerala Government and the Ayurveda fraternity of Kerala.
"Over 4,000 delegates from 35 countries are expected to participate in the conference. A Sri Lankan delegation comprising the nation's health Minister, a 50 member delegation from Germany and teams from countries like Argentina,U.K., Italy, Singapore and many more have confirmed participation," Hibi Eden, MLA, the Reception Committee Chairman for GAF 2014, told reporters here.
Dr M R V Namboodiri, working chairman, said the central theme of this edition of GAF would be Ayurveda in Public Health in the context of the growing burden of new age communicable diseases.
