Four feared drowned

The four were swept away by strong currents of the water at Kishanpur Bet Pattan, they said.

To beat the scorching heat, five friends, aged between 18 and 20 years, decided to take dip in the river.

Four of them were feared drowned and one was rescued, police said.

Search operations were on to locate any possible survivor, they said.
