Acting on a tip-off, police conducted raid at the backyard of the town hall complex in the Gumat area of Jammu city yesterday and arrested four gamblers, they said.
The arrested gamblers have been identified as Inderpal, Bharat Bhushan, Sukhdev Singh and Ranvir Singh, police said, adding stake money amounting to Rs 11,570 was also recovered from their possession.
The accused have been booked under Gambling Act and investigation was underway, they added.
