Four held with brown sugar worth Rs 80 lakh

Four persons were today arrested after police recovered brown sugar worth Rs 80 lakh from their vehicle in Ganderbal district of central Kashmir.
A police party intercepted a sports utility vehicle at Safapora, 31 km from here, during vehicle checking and recovered a packet containing 800 gram brown sugar, a police spokesman said.
Four persons in the vehicle, including the driver, were arrested, the spokesman said, adding that a case under NDPS Act was registered.
