Four hurt, machines worth crores gutted in factory fire

Four workers suffered burns, while machines and raw material worth crores of rupees were gutted today when a major fire broke out at a factory in SIDCUL area, about 16 km from here.
Siddhant Thermoware Promoter at plot no 28-29 of SIDCUL area caught fire in the morning inflicting burn injuries on four workers and destroying machines and raw material, chief fire fighting official the area, Rajendra Singh Khati said.
The fire was doused after hours by several fire tenders, he said.
The blaze erupted at a time when there were not many workers at the factory, the official said.

The exact cause of the fire has not been ascertained yet, but prima facie a short curcuit might have caused it, Khati said.
