powerful bomb explosion at Sagolmang area in Imphal East district of Manipur under Sagolmang police station today, police officers said.
Police sources said, the bomb was hurled by unidentified persons at the residence of one Laisharm Saratkumar (57) of Yumnam Khunou area.
The injured persons, who were playing in the area during the explosion, were rushed to the Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences hospital here, they said adding, no individual group or organisation has claimed responsibility for the explosion so far.
