Four jail warders suspended in Haryana

Four jail warders of different jails in Haryana were today placed under suspension with immediate effect due to alleged gross misconduct and dereliction of duty.
Those placed under suspension are Pawan Kumar of district jail, Karnal, Mehar Singh and Atma Ram of district jail, Jind and Balbir Singh of district jail, Bhiwani, an official spokesman said here.
The orders to this effect were issued by Superintendent, Headquarter Jails, Panchkula.
The development comes barely three days after the head warder of district jail Karnal Satwan Singh was suspended after a video purportedly showing him dancing with a woman went viral on social media.

The video shows the jail warder performing dance moves with a professional dancer on stage inside Jind jail premises.
The warder, who is in uniform, is dancing while another man on the stage can be seen throwing currency notes on the woman dancer.
