The car fell into the 125-metre deep gorge near Uragi while returning late last evening from a marriage party from Sirkil village in the district to Rachuli village killing all the four on the spot and leaving one injured, they said.
The only person injured in the mishap has been shifted from the district hospital to the base hospital in Srinagar.
The reasons of the mishap are yet to be ascertained but over speeding seems to be the cause behind it, Sub-Divisional Magistrate P L Shah said.
