Four killed as car rams tree in Villupuram dist

Four persons including three women were killed when their car rammed into a tree and fell into a roadside ditch along Villupuram-Tindivanam highway, near here today, police said.
The accident occurred when the car from Andhra Pradesh was proceeding to Chennai, they said.
The driver lost control of the vehicle at ten bazaar and hit the tree before capsizing into the over 10-foot deep pit.
A woman passenger who sustained injuries has been admitted to the hospital, police said.
