Four killed in fire at metal grinding factory

Four persons were charred to death and three others seriously injured in a fire which broke out at a factory near here, police said today.
The factory grinds metals at Ettakapatti. Friction and heat while grinding magnesium was the reason behind the fire which broke out last night.
Venkatesh Prabhu, the owner of the factory, died last night, while Kalimuthu, Perumalsamy and Manikandan succumbed to their burns at a government hospital today. The condition of the injured is stated to be serious, police said.
