The four injured persons were identified as Suresh Tripaty (28), his wife Suchitra Tripathy (26) and their two daughters Swati (7) and Sruti (5).
As there was screaming sound from Suresh's house at Indirapali near Fertiliser Township this morning, local people rushed to the place and rescued them. They were rushed to the burn care centre in Ispat General Hospital (IGH) of Rourkela Steel Plant.
"I am not sure as I came running when I heard them calling for help and ran with others and found them in fire and shouting," said a neighbour who did not want to be named.
Meanwhile, sources in IGH said the condition of the mother and the two kids were very critical.
