Senior JD(U) leader Sharad Yadav today broke his silence on the end of "grand alliance" in Bihar, saying it was very "unpleasant" and "unfortunate".
In a surprise move last week, Janata Dal (United) leader and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar left the "grand alliance" with Lalu Yadav's RJD and the Congress.
Kumar allied with the BJP and formed a new government.
"The situation (dissolution of coalition) is very unpleasant to us... It is unfortunate that the coalition has broken," Sharad Yadav told reporters outside Parliament.
