The accident took place late last night, a police official said adding that the SUV was heading to Navsari in south Gujarat.
"A family from Khargam village in Nasvari district had left for a pilgrimage to Sarangpur, Dwarka, Bhavnagar, Girnar and Chotila on August 31. After offering prayers at Chotila, the members were on their way back when their vehicle collided with a truck near here," the police said.
The deceased were identified as Brijal Patel (17), Champak Patel (30), Mukesh Patel (32) and Tina Patel (34), they said.
