Four policemen shot dead in Pakistan

Four policemen were gunned down by motorcycle-borne assailants in this Pakistani city today.
The incident happened in Ibrahim Hyderi area of the city when four men on two motorcycles opened fire on the police and then fled away.
The four police officials were fatally wounded in the gunfire and later succumbed to their injuries at a hospital.
Karachi's additional IG Shahid Hayat told the reporters that the police had killed two target killers during an exchange of fire which took place four day back here.
"It appears the attack was the retaliation for the death of the two target killers," he said.
