A woman and three others were today sentenced to life imprisonment by a local court for killing her husband five years ago.
District and Sessions Judge OP Sinwar held the four guilty under section 302 of the IPC (murder) for killing Gulabaram in 2009.
According to the prosecution, a fine of Rs 2,000 was also imposed on each of the convicts -- Kelam, Chokharam, Tugaram and Papudi.
Gulabaram, who belonged to Jodhpur, had settled in Jaisalmer and his wife Kelam had an illicit relationship with Chokharam.
The woman along with Chokharam and his two brothers strangulated Gulabaram to death in 2009.
