Four persons were today arrested for allegedly robbing a steel company manager of Rs 6 lakh cash in Jalna district on Thursday, police said.
The alleged incident occurred when Sunny Chilka was carrying a bag containing cash on his motorcylcle in Chadanjhira area, an official said.
When Chilka stopped due to traffic, the suspects arrived at the spot and snatched the bag from him at knife point, said local crime branch head Rajendra Singh Gaur.
The accused are identified as Kapil alias Prakash Sundarlal Jain (30), Arjun Dhaktode (23), Akash Raju Singh Junni, (19), and Kishor Padol (24).
Police recovered cash worth Rs 6 lakh, a motorcycle, and a knife from their possession.
According to police, Jain, a former employee of the company, is allegedly the mastermind of the crime.
Further investigation is underway.
