The scheme was implemented today on the occasion of Independence Day, Dr Ajay Gupta, Additional Director, Animal Husbandry department, said.
"87 types of drugs will be made available at all district-level government hospitals and polyclinics whereas 78 types of drugs will be available at panchayat and tehsil level centre," he added.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had launched the scheme here on Monday, under which 87 types of veterinary drugs and 13 surgical consumables will be available free of cost.
